Your home is your biggest investment and quite possibly your biggest expense. Because of that fact, it's important to make your home as comfortable and energy efficient as possible. Thermacon can help you improve the comfort in your home and reduce your energy consumption by performing an indoor air quality and energy efficiency assesment. We can show you where you can make improvements that will impact your utility bill and comfort – immediately.
Thermacon's indoor air quality evaluation process is part of our overall home efficiency evaluation prgoram called G.R.E.E.N. – Greater Residential Energy Efficiency through New Technologies. Our technicians will inspect all of the energy users in your home such as insulation, air sealing, ductwork, radiant barriers, water heating and the heating and cooling system. We'll also evaluate your indoor air quality which is often overlooked. We then provide you with a written and verbal report with our recommendations for home energy and indoor air quality improvements.
Indoor air quality improvements can range from air filtration to air purification to whole house dehumidifiers and air leakage sealing. System improvement options include an Infinity Air Purifier system or a smaller version, a Cabinet Air Cleaner. Air Purification and Indoor Air Quality component recommendations could include a single bulb UV light installed at your evaporator coil to be assured that mold and mildew growth is controlled where water accumulates or whole house dehumidifiers that can increase your family's comfort. Supply and return air leakage sealing can be a huge energy saver, reducing your monthly utility bill.
